The pharmaceutical company EG is a Belgian company and leader of generic medicines in Belgium. Today, the company counts 190 collaborators. EG is part of STADA Group and consists of 3 divisions: EG Generics, Consumer Care & Specialty Care. The EG Generics portfolio contains almost 700 medicines (mostly prescription medicines) destined for the treatment of health problems in almost every therapeutic domain. The EG team also offers continuous practical support to doctors and specialists for a responsible and affordable patient care. EG Consumer Care creates innovative brands of nutritional supplements, medical aids and medicines that are available in pharmacies without prescription (OTC). We emphasize ‘evidence-based nutraceuticals’: nutritional supplements that are scientifically tested and who help you sustain your health. EG Specialty Care also offers very specialized prescription medicines - mainly to hospitals and psychiatric institutions. About ChC
Consumer Healthcare is one of our 3 pillars at EG. EG evolved from the nr 5 position in the Belgian CHC market to the nr 1 position between 2018 and 2022 and is still outgrowing the market and a central pilar in our commercially driven organization. This department is essential for ensuring that the company’s products meet the needs of its stakeholders (patients, doctors and pharmacists) while driving business growth. By effectively communicating product benefits, fostering relationships, and adhering to regulatory standards, the team plays a vital role in the overall success of the organization and contributes to better health outcomes for patients and improved support for healthcare professionals.
Your Role
As RSM South for the Mons/Charleroi region, you will lead a combined team of pharma and medical representatives focused on Consumer Health Care (ChC). You will be responsible for regional development, team coaching, and execution of commercial strategies. You will report to the Sales Manager Pharma & Medical Belgium and manage a team of approximately 8 FTEs
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and develop your team through field and remote interactions (80% of your time).
- Implement strategic and tactical sales plans for ChC within the region.
- Foster team alignment with EG’s values and operational standards.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
- Track performance and adjust plans to meet or exceed targets.
- Conduct customer visits and ensure business continuity.
Your Profile
- Bachelor or Master’s degree with relevant experience in commercial roles.
- Experience in sales pharma is a must and by preference as well in medical sales and/or CHC.
- Fluent in French, with solid Dutch.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively
