We are looking for you as a project manager in the supply chain (f/m/d) for our location in Kassel as soon as possible. This position can be filled on a full-time basis.

Your role at Alstom - What you can do with us

A total of more than 35,000 locomotives have already been transported from Kassel into the world: at the traditional Alstom site in Kassel, in addition to the new building, the service for the well-known Traxx locomotive platform is playing an increasingly important role. The Rolling Stock & Components division offers products from the broadest portfolio in the railway industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including zero-emission propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. In this role, you will report to Regional Supply Chain Manager and work in a motivated and committed team.

Your tasks:

Designing a supply chain network and determining its costs
Responsible for carrying out the key activities to ensure that all conditions related to supplier deliveries, logistics flows, inventory policy and system management are met, while achieving the QCD objectives for logistics set in the tender phase
Coordinate supply chain activities related to planning changes, supplier changes, or technical changes that have a significant impact on the supplier's capacity or logistics flows
Manage material availability (missing parts), anticipate material shortages
Responsible for Gate Verification in the Context of Supply Chain (DFQ

Experience working in a supplier/customer relationship or project or industry
