Job Title: Localization Quality Assurance Tester (LQA Tester)
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
Report and document translation errors, typos, grammar issues, cultural inaccuracies and other localization bugs.
Verify contextual correctness of in-game text (e.g., dialogue, menus, subtitles) and ensure consistency with the original version.
Collaborate with the localization and development teams to reproduce and resolve reported issues.
Follow test plans and check lists to ensure comprehensive coverage of localized content.
Provide feedback on cultural appropriateness and suggest improvements for regional adaptation.
Assist in ad-hoc testing tasks, including regression testing and verification of bug fixes.
Requirements
Native-level proficiency in above target languages and strong English skills for communication.
Prior experience as a game tester, LQA tester, linguist, or translatoris a plus.
Passion for video games and familiarity with gaming terminology in your native language.
Keen eye for detail and ability to spot subtle linguistic/cultural issues.
Basic understanding of bug-tracking tools(e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is preferred.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
