Aufgabe

As a member of the Collateral Optimization Team (COT) on the XVA Desk, you will handle derivative agreement requests from Front Office colleagues worldwide, acting as a first line of defense for the bank. These agreements are the basis for all Capital Markets derivatives trading. You will also actively participate in team projects and initiatives.
As a member of COT, you will deal with Master Agreement requests from Front Office worldwide (NBFI, Corporates, Institutional) to negotiate different types of master agreements.
You will evaluate the economic impact of derivative documentation and ensure it adheres to internal guidelines and regulatory requirements. This includes analyzing client requirements and implementing regulatory requirements such as:

• Initial Margin (IM) documentation
• Collateral schedule negotiations with clients
• Implementation of custodial agreements
• Processing of IM Reports, continuous improvement of reporting with GS-BM and APS Cluster
• Maintaining bank guidelines and acting as a stakeholder and voting member in global policies and processes

You will also participate in important projects and initiatives such as:

• Implementation of EFET (European Federation of Energy Traders) agreements in Commerzbank AG
• Support Front Office initiatives (e.g. Flexible CSAs, EUA collateral)
• Support continued development of the new MAP System

Profil

• University degree
• Several years of professional experience in banking
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
• Good analytical, conceptual and solution-oriented thinking
• Proficiency developing ComRules guidelines a plus
• Understanding linkages between Master Agreements, operational and legal risk, and economic impact (XVA, capital) a plus
• Experience dealing with Derivative Sales, Relationship Managers, Collateral Management, Exposure Management, Credit and/or Legal departments a plus
