For our site in Mühltal, we are looking for a Workshop Manager (m/f/d) to coordinate the workshop, lead employees, and manage the associated logistics. At our technical center in Mühltal, special-purpose machinery, prototypes, pre-series units, and complete production lines are manufactured, assembled, and commissioned. Machining using 5-axis milling machines and CNC turning is an important part of the workshop.
Your Responsibilities
- Technical Center Management: Independently manage the production and assembly department.
- Team Leadership: Disciplinary leadership and coordination of workshop staff, including precision mechanics, metalworkers, welders, plant fitters, senior fitters, external companies, and logistics personnel.
- Interface Management: Collaborate with project management, customer service, and electrical engineering.
- Quality Management: Enforce and document quality requirements; plan and conduct test runs.
- Acceptance Tests: Prepare and conduct acceptance tests for completed projects (FAT).
- Occupational Safety: Ensure that all applicable and necessary occupational safety measures are implemented in the workshop.
Your Profile
- Qualifications: Master industrial mechanic and/or completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic; CNC knowledge required.
- Experience: More than three years of experience in mechanical workshop operations.
- Software Skills: Proficient IT skills, including MS Office and CAM.
- Languages: Fluent German and good English skills.
- Working Style: Independent working style, strong communication skills, and a high level of customer orientation.
- Leadership Skills: You lead employees in a cooperative, performance-oriented manner.
- Driving Licence: Class B driving licence required; forklift and crane qualifications are an advantage.
