Team Leader - Withholding Tax

We are currently looking for a colleague to join our Withholding Tax Team that is a part of our Tax Operations Department within the Tax Area. We are responsible for German and Luxembourg’s funds portfolio and we cooperate with around 30 custodians).
Your tasks and responsibilities:
· Lead and develop a team of dedicated professionals based in Frankfurt.
· Operate daily controls and tasks to ensure regulatory tax obligations and client level standards are met.
· Onboard Withholding Tax as a product, which will require creation of operating flows, procedures, controls and technology user-guide.
· Timely submission of the Withholding Tax documents to the responsible custodian bank/tax authority
· Monitoring, analysis and implementation of legal changes.
Your skills and experience:
· Minimum five years people management experience with the ability to motivate and inspire.
· Strong communications skills in both German and English languages.
· Risk and control mindset.
· Data-centric with an analytical approach.
· Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-pace environment.
· Experience in banking or finance industry ideally with references to taxes.
