At Deutsche Börse, we are dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions and services to the financial industry. We are seeking a passionate and talented Back End Developer Intern to join our analytics platform team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience and contribute to impactful projects.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain back-end components of our analytics platform using C++ 11 and newer.
- Implement and manage GCP Cloud services and GKE Cluster for scalable and efficient application deployment.
- Design and develop multithreaded high-performance applications to handle large-scale data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and reliability.
- Work closely with front-end developers and data scientists to integrate back-end services with analytics applications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Your profile
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree program.
- Strong understanding of C++ 11 and its features.
- Knowledge of multithreaded application development and optimization techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with of C++ 20 and its features.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters.
- Understanding of the Jira system for project management and issue tracking.
- Basic understanding of server-side development and database management.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end applications.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
