Was Dich erwartet

• Für unser Support Centre mit Sitz in Frankfurt am Main suchen wir Dich als (Senior) Local GAAP Accountant (gn) zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt. In Deiner Rolle bist Du Teil des deutschen Finanzteams und bist verantwortlich für die Überleitung von IFRS zu German GAAP und die zeitnahe Erstellung der Jahresabschlüsse der Tochtergesellschaften nach HGB.Du sorgst für die fristgerechte Erstellung, Überprüfung und Einreichung aller deutschen Tochterunternehmensabschlüsse.
• Du erfasst alle HGB-Rechnungslegungsanforderungen und gibst diese an die anderen Finanzteams weiter.
• Du überprüfst die Angemessenheit, Zweckmäßigkeit und Übereinstimmung der internen Richtlinien mit dem HGB.
• Du etablierst gute Beziehungen zu internen Stakeholdern und externen Wirtschaftsprüfern, ohne dass es zu Überschreitungen kommt.
• Du verantwortest die Überprüfung und Verbesserung der Prozesse, um eine effektive und effiziente Buchhaltung zu gewährleisten.

Was Du mitbringst

• Du verfügst über ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Studium mit entsprechenden Schwerpunkten oder eine vergleichbare kaufmännische Ausbildung im Finanzbereich.
• Du hast mehrjährige Erfahrungen im Accounting Bereich eines international tätigen Konzerns sammeln können und bist bilanzsicher nach IFRS und GAAP/HGB. Zusätzlich kennst Du Dich mit dem deutschen Steuerrecht aus.
• Du arbeitest in einer strukturierten und selbstständigen Arbeitsweise und hast Freude daran, Prozesse zu optimieren.
• Du verfügst über fundierte Kenntnisse in Oracle Fusion oder anderen ERP-Systemen und bist sicher im Umgang mit MS Office (insb. Excel und Power Point).
• Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

What to expect

• For our Support Centre based in Frankfurt am Main we are looking for you as (Senior) Local GAAP Accountant (gn) as soon as possible. In your role, you will be part of the German finance team and will be responsible for the transition from IFRS to German GAAP and the timely preparation of the financial statements of the subsidiaries in accordance with HGB.You will ensure the timely preparation, review and submission of all German subsidiary financial statements.
• You record all HGB accounting requirements and pass them on to the other finance teams.
• You review the appropriateness, usefulness and compliance of internal guidelines with the HGB.
• You establish good relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors without overstepping the mark.
• You will be responsible for reviewing and improving processes to ensure effective and efficient accounting.

What defines you

• You have successfully completed a degree in economics with a corresponding specialisation or comparable commercial training in finance.
• You have several years of experience in the accounting department of an international group and are familiar with IFRS and GAAP/HGB accounting. You are also familiar with German tax law.
• You work in a structured and independent manner and enjoy optimising processes.
• You have a sound knowledge of Oracle Fusion or other ERP systems and are confident in using MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English.
