Senior DevOps Engineer ( Digital Banking Solutions) (m/f/diverse)

Your tasks

• Monitoring and maintaining of the operational stability of the production environment for your team;
• Preparing and deploying of software builds and release packages for new or already released applications and interfaces in accordance with the internal CI/CD processes to all relevant environments including production;
• Creating and maintaining of delivery pipelines relevant to your team’s applications;
• Creating and maintaining of the technical documentation;
• Integrating of backend systems from the Commerzbank IT landscape to realize the functionality of your team’s applications;
• Supporting of incident resolution and bug fixing;
• Participating actively in a development process in which code quality, transparency and cooperation are highly valued;
• Working in an agile team setup and participate in scrum ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retro).

Your profile

• Strong experience with Azure - implementation and maintain IaC scripts;
• Strong experience in building and maintaining the CI/CD process;
• Professional experience with Openshift, Docker, Podman;
• Experience with monitoring tools - Kibana, Dynatrace, Grafana;
• Professional experience in creating, building and maintaining pipelines;
• Excellent data analysis performance by setting up MS SQL statements, create and generate reports for the business or IT;
• Good analytic thinking with attention to details to solve problems;
• Fluent English - both written and spoken;
• University degree in IT or relevant.

We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in our Digital Banking Solutions team.
In your role as DevOps Engineer, you will be one of the experts in the team/cluster responsible for application management aspects, i.e. aligning and addressing application operation needs with development and business expert, ensuring compliance of software deliveries to the CI/CD guidelines and policies. This role requires a combination of application management experience and good understanding of technology used (Azure, OpenShift, Docker and database technologies).
