Your Role:
You will be responsible for the practical development and implementation of cell based models and screening activities within Discovery Pharmacology. Together with the technical staff of your laboratory, you will establish and run cellular assays being used for the characterization of our pipeline molecules in different phases of our preclinical Drug Discovery. You will employ such assays also in High Throughput format and for phenotypic read-outs. Furthermore, you will scout and establish novel predictive cell based technologies within our organization. You will work as delegate of the Discovery Pharmacology in cross-functional project teams .
The position is limited for 2 years.
Who you are:
You hold a PhD in Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or other Life Sciences discipline
You have practical experiences in cell biology and cell-based pharmacology.
Experience in Industry or Biotech.
Excellent presentation skills, a good networker and communicator.
Experiences with supervising technical staff
Experience in the assay development for different drug target classes
Experience in compound characterization in a higher throughput fashion, using automation and data analysis
Fluency in English and German is mandatory
