Global Procurement Category Lead - Logistics (f/m/d)

STADA is seeking an experienced Global Procurement Category Lead (f/m/d) for Logistics to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and management of logistics categories globally, ensuring that we optimize cost-efficiency, enhance supplier relationships, and support our overall business objectives.
What you can expect

• You develop and implement global sourcing strategies for logistics categories, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• You conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the logistics sector.
• You build and maintain strong relationships with key logistics suppliers to ensure service excellence and compliance with SLAs.
• You negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to achieve optimal terms and conditions for STADA.
• You collaborate with internal stakeholders, including supply chain, operations, legal, and finance teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
• You work closely with regional procurement teams to ensure consistency and compliance with global strategies.
• You establish KPIs to measure and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
• You analyze procurement data and reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for optimization.

Who we are looking for

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in global procurement, with a focus on logistics and supply chain management.
• You possess strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• You have a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and build effective relationships.
• You are proficient in procurement tools and software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• You are a strong communicator with the ability to influence others.
• You are adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• You are fluent in both German and English (spoken & written).
