Tasks
In this role, you will help design the target IT architecture of Lufthansa Cargo with a focus on AI and technology-driven warehouse automation solutions.
You will combine strategic architectural expertise with operational implementation and ensure that innovative technologies deliver measurable value to the business.
Your responsibilities include:
- Further development of the reference architecture and design of relevant building blocks with a focus on warehouse automation solutions
- Evaluation of technologies for innovative warehouse automation solutions, e.g. in areas such as autonomous vehicles, physical robotics, and digital twin
- Definition of target architectures, migration scenarios, and roadmaps for introducing and scaling innovative warehouse automation solutions

Requirements
You think strategically, are technologically savvy, and move confidently between business and IT. This is what you bring:
- Completed university degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable field) or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of proven professional experience in the field of modern warehouse automation solutions
- Several years of experience with cloud, AI, GenAI, and technology evaluation
- Experience participating in or leading complex projects
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Very good German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business
