Aufgabe

Responsible for testing of fuel systems and fuels like low carbon fuels and hydrogen for hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles
Development of new injection components and systems and suitable testing concepts reflecting also work safety
Preparation of test equipment and adapt or extend existing testing devices to conclude project with best possible results
Analysis of injection system and fuel related test data with special consideration of future liquid fuels but also hydrogen gas
Benchmarking activities for powertrains and fuel injection components, systems, control strategies and testing methods
Project planning and execution whilst ensuring optimal usage of budget, resources, timeframe and co-work partners
Documentation and presentation of project and development results

Qualifikation

Degree in mechanical/ automotive engineering
Min. 3 years of related experience in the area of automotive, powertrain or mechatronic research and development
Experience in fuel injection system test and function and durability development and know how in fuels is a plus
Passion for innovative technologies with an overview of the relevant market trends
Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
Excellent analytical skills as well as a problem solving mentality
A very good command of English, intercultural and communication skills
Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
