Backend Developer (m/f/d)

We continue to grow and are looking for a new member to strengthen our IT Team. We are hiring a Backend Development (m/f/d) for our headquarters at Frankfurt international airport in Frankfurt am Main.

• Design and maintain our application using a modern PHP stack that is made up of Symfony components and event sourcing.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
• Take ownership of critical projects or refactoring efforts, driving their successful completion.
• Openness to constructive technical discussions to collaborate on finding the best solutions.
• Keep up with the latest trends and advancements in software development.
• Share knowledge and mentor colleagues, helping them unlock their full potential.

Ihr Profil

• 3+ years of software development at an intermediate or higher level (including OOP, design patterns, data structures).
• Experience with Symfony Framework and its components preferred.
• Knowledge in relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Docker and RabbitMQ is a plus.
• Understanding of unit tests and modular system design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and theoretical knowledge.
• Quick comprehension and ability to work with large systems.
• Openness to technical discussions and collaboration.
• Passion for learning and teamwork.
• Good English skills, both written and spoken.
